MDTech announces their newest client, Pacific Inpatient Medical Group, Inc. has implemented the MD Coder 10 Charge Capture Solution software for their entire 100+ physician organization.
Medical Design Technologies (MDTECH), the market leader for charge capture technologies, announced today that Pacific Inpatient Medical Group, Inc. (PIMG) recently completed the implementation process of MD Coder 10 Charge Capture solution across their entire 100+ physician medical organization. Pacific Inpatient Medical Group implemented MDTECH’s MD Coder application as a vendor replacement application.
PIMG, a hospitalist specialty group based in San Francisco, Cal ifornia, provides support services to seven Sutter Health Campuses throughout Northern California. The group selected MD Coder in August of 2017 as a replacement to their existing charge capture vendor which had been serving them for the past decade. The successful implementation was measured by 100% adoption of the system in less than 30-days from the scheduled go-live and included multiple interfaces into EPIC for the inpatient census data as well as additional interfaces into their practice management billing system. In early December, the system went live with the Medical Directors of each campus and a few volunteer physicians. The entire group went live 2 weeks later with a total adoption across the entire enterprise on January 1, 2018.
